The 48-hour promise

BEHIND GREMARI

The 48-hour promise

Fine jewellery is often associated with long production times. At GREMARI, selected rings are offered with a different promise: they can be crafted in our workshop within 48 hours.

The idea is simple. When the design, materials and required components are available for our fast-production service, we organise the making process so that the piece can move through the workshop quickly without skipping the stages that matter.

48 hours does not mean mass-produced

Fast production and mass production are not the same thing. A ring still needs to be assembled, finished and checked as jewellery. The difference is in how the workflow is organised.

What happens in the workshop?

Depending on the design, the process can include:

  1. Confirming the selected ring, gold colour, stone specification and size.
  2. Preparing the relevant components and setting.
  3. Stone setting and jewellery assembly where required.
  4. Finishing and polishing.
  5. Quality control before dispatch.

The exact production sequence varies by design. A simple solitaire and a more complex multi-stone ring do not necessarily follow identical workshop steps.

Which products qualify?

The 48-hour promise applies only to products explicitly marked as eligible for 48-hour workshop production or “ready in 48h”. You should always check the delivery information shown on the individual product page before ordering.

Some configurations can require additional time. This may include specific gold colours, unusual sizes, custom alterations, engraving requirements, stone availability or other made-to-order details.

What does the 48-hour period refer to?

The promise refers to the workshop production timeframe for eligible jewellery, not necessarily the total time between clicking “order” and receiving the parcel.

Delivery time also depends on:

  • the destination country,
  • the courier service,
  • weekends and public holidays,
  • the time the order is confirmed,
  • and whether the selected configuration requires additional work.

Why we built the service this way

An engagement ring is often connected to a specific moment. Sometimes the proposal date is planned months in advance; sometimes it is not. We wanted selected GREMARI designs to be available on a workshop timescale that is easier to plan around without turning fine jewellery into an anonymous off-the-shelf product.

Does faster production change the diamond?

No. The diamond or gemstone specification is independent of the speed of workshop production. Where a diamond is supplied with an independent grading or quality report, that documentation relates to the stone itself.

Before you order for a fixed date

If the ring is needed for a proposal, wedding, anniversary or another fixed date, we recommend leaving additional time for courier delivery and any unexpected delay. A workshop promise is designed to make timing more predictable, but no jewellery purchase intended for an important date should be planned around the final possible delivery day.

Selected GREMARI jewellery is organised for fast workshop production — crafted, finished and quality-checked within the timeframe shown on the product page.

Look for the ready in 48h or equivalent production message on the product you are considering. If it is not shown, the item may follow a different made-to-order schedule.
